Caitlyn and Kris Jenner Met for the First Time After Divorce

Caitlyn Jenner reportedly came face to face with her ex-wife Kris Jenner yesterday for the first time. We can only imagine how that meeting went, given the fact that their split was so public.

Kris’ car (a black Escalade) was spotted leaving Caitlyn’s sprawling hillside Malibu home yesterday and TMZ has the photo.

Sources told TMZ that Kris had not yet met with Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce, since her transitAfter their split, there was allegedly a lot of “bitterness” between the two of them that was made worse by Caitlyn’s interview with Diane Sawyer, in which she publicly came out as a woman for the first time back in April.

TMZ also notes that after everything, Kris feels bad that their 30 year relationship “has gone down in flames to the point they almost never even speak.” At the end of the day, they share children and are parents together, “and therefore will always be a family.” She’s thus hopeful that this can be a “fresh beginning” for them, and we are hopeful for only good things too.

The first episode of I Am Cait, which aired last Sunday, also featured several “first” meetings between her and her family members, such as with mom Esther and her two sisters, daughter Kylie Jenner, as well as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Kris and Caitlyn’s divorce was finalized back in December 2014. Kris cited “irreconcilable differences” when they separated in September 2013, after being married for 22 years.ion and subsequent Vanity Fair reveal in July (with that accompanying Buzz Bissinger article). Their first meeting reportedly went very well; sources say they talked through some of their issues, which got very “personal” since, the tabloid notes, “there are multiple versions of what Kris knew and when she knew it.”
